Founder & CEO

Amany Alhadka has over 20 years of experience working in Operation Excellence. Being specialized in building and strengthening the operational capacity of organizations during start up, growth and scale up, she has supported many field operations. She has worked in many national and international organizations including CARE, Misr Elkheir Foundation and Equality Fund. She also consulted and facilitated many change management initiatives aiming at transitioning organizations to new operating models, structures and processes.

Amany is passionate about Operation Excellence and optimizing the Core Mission Support (AKA Back-Office Support) by increasing its efficiency and effectiveness levels. She has devoted her life to social change through offering business solutions to social workers on the ground, which finally led her to create a social enterprise that aims to be known for its excellence and determination to work towards making a significant impact.

Amany does not only provide her own expertise at alnawa, but also the great comprehensive partner network that has the expertise and capacity to support businesses on all scales; for example, auditing, information technology, strategic planning, financial modeling, anything contributing to business transformation and supporting impact programs. Currently, she is also the Sr. Advisor, Operations Excellence to Prospera, the International network of Women's Funds and an Associate for Financial Innovation and Resilience at Spring Strategies.

Administrative Assistant

Hossam Roushdy represents the Back-Office and Core Support of alnawa. His work ranges from writing reports and communicating with clients to supporting the CEO with all financial and administrative matters, allowing him to work closely with both the internal and external members. Hossam strongly believes in working hard behind the scenes before setting off a great business or foundation, which is why he works tirelessly to ensure alnawa's organizational systems are in the best shape possible.

Marketing Specialist

Rawan Abdou is a young professional who was determined to experiment when it comes to her career. Being a mechanical engineering student has not limited her from pursuing a marketing-related career path. Starting on a small scale at her university and building a huge network that lead her to land great opportunities, alnawa's Marketing Specialist position being one of them.

Living in Canada has opened up her eyes to the many globally unheard female voices fighting for social change. That is why Rawan chose to be part of a team that aims to support these organizations and more.

Rawan works on alnawa's marketing strategies including it's web development, social media platforms' creation and maintenance, and SEO. She also works on designing some of the company's presentations and client's marketing-related tasks.

HR Associate

Joann Boland is a senior executive with 30 years experience in human resource management, board governance, operational review and strategic planning, financial reporting, fund development, corporate culture, and overall organizational performance & effectiveness.


Throughout her career, she has established a multitude of processes, accountability frameworks and leadership standards to support organizations in their quest to create environments of service, quality, engagement, diversity, and high organizational performance. Joann excels at conducting organizational reviews, stakeholder consultations and strategic planning sessions with the goal of engaging an organization's senior team in achieving a clear sense of future direction and focus.


As an experienced leader (both in the workplace and as a consultant), Joann works with alnawa's clients to strike the right balance that serves both the employee and the organization.

Bruna Llakmani is an experienced Accountant with a demonstrated history of working in the non-profit organization management industry. She is a strong accounting professional skilled in Management, Global Health, Process Scheduler, Customer Service, and Team Building.
